The following meetings/events are scheduled for the week of December 1, 2019. 

Tuesday, December 3 @ 6:00 p.m., James Island History Committee. The meeting agenda and information on an upcoming event for Victory Day can be found here.  

Thursday, December 5, 2019 @ 6:30 p.m., Town of James Island Tree Lighting Ceremony.  Town Hall Parking Lot. Public invited to enjoy the fun and festivities of the season!

Arbor Day Celebration. You are invited to an Arbor Day Celebration on Friday, December 6 @ 12:00 noon at First Baptist Church. Please join us as we plant a Live Oak tree with students from Camp Road Middle School. More information can be found here.

Broken Water Main 

Please be advised of a broken water main at Fort Johnson Road, Hepburn Street and Chicorie Way. Roads are blocked off. Charleston Water Systems and James Island PSD are at the scene. At this time, no time has been given for when the repair will be completed. If further information is required, please contact Charleston Water System, (843) 727-6800.
