The Town of James Island will host its Shred Event tomorrow (Friday, March 2) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot at Town Hall (1238-B Camp Road). Don't miss this opportunity to dispose of papers and old records in a secure manner.  Free to the public.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Flood Mitigation in Senate District 41 


Make plans to attend an important meeting regarding flood mitigation efforts in Senate District #41, Monday, March 5, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the West Ashley High School Cafeteria. Officials from the cities, towns, public service districts and Charleston County will be available as well as SC Department of Transportation (SCDOT) and federal officials.  We hope you will attend this important meeting. Is it time to dispose of confidential documents and old files?

The Town of James Island is pleased to announce FREE SHREDDING to the public on Friday, March 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Shredding will be provided by SHRED 360. This event will take place in the parking lot at the Town Hall, 1238-B Camp Road, James Island, SC.

Attendees are asked to remain in their cars upon arrival to help everyone enjoy "FREE PAPER SHREDDING".  In an effort to shred sensitive documents in a timely manner, attendees are limited to three (3) boxes (copy paper box or smaller) or three bags (kitchen trash bag or smaller) per vehicle. There is no need to remove binders, binder clips, paper clips, staples, rubber bands, or CDs/DVDs prior to shredding. We hope you will join us for this free service to the public on Friday, March 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please tell your family and friends.
