The Trees Advisory Council will meet on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 @ 5:30 p.m. by Zoom Platform. The agenda is attached for your information that contains information on how to join the meeting. 

Leaders from Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties have partnered on a new initiative, led by One Region, to establish a consistent roadmap for employers and residents as we prepare to safely reopen our local economy.

The strategy, named re|IGNITE, leverages expertise from business, healthcare, nonprofit, and government sectors to create a coordinated, science-based plan to restore the local economy.

One Region is convening stakeholders from across the region to develop and finalize a phased plan, including industry-specific guidance on how and when to safely reopen.

“We know our citizens and businesses are eager to get back to work and return to a new ‘normal’ as we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. Charleston County is currently working with our local,
regional, and state partners on a plan to ensure safety is a top priority as businesses begin plans to reopen. We appreciate everyone’s patience during these trying times and I know if we work together we will come
