Notice is hereby given that the James Island Town Council will hold a Public Hearing on its Operating Budget for Fiscal Year July 1, 2021 - June, 2022. Town Hall Closed for Good Friday Holiday 

The Town of James Island Offices will be closed on Friday April 2 in observance of the Good Friday Holiday and will reopen Monday, April 5 at 9:00 a.m.

Pet Waste Stations Making Headlines  

The Town of James Island has partnered with the James Island Public Service District to install Pet Waste Stations in many of our neighborhoods. The article reports information from the Town’s Public Works Director Mark Johnson, including how he estimates 17,000 lbs of fecal material were collected in the first year after the program began, keeping them out of our local marshes and waterways. Food Drive for Backpack Buddies 

We’re helping Backpack Buddies celebrate their 1 year anniversary by hosting a Food drive at Town Hall!

Backpack Buddies is an organization on James Island that sends food home for local children in need.

Come pick-up your bag(s) at Town Hall and fill them up with the most needed items, and drop-off to James Island Outreach.
