National Night Out Celebration: The Town of James Island, JI Neighborhood Council, and Island Sheriff's Patrol will once again host National Night Out on Tuesday, August 3, from 6-8 p.m. in the parking lot at Town Hall. Come out and enjoy an evening of fun, food, games and mingle with our Island Sheriffs Patrol.

The James Island Town Council will hold a Public Hearing and Second Reading on Ordinance #2021-03, to increase the annual compensation of Mayor on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in person at the Town Hall, 1122 Dills Bluff Rd., James Island. Comments may also be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org by 12:00 noon.
The current annual compensation for Mayor is $15,000 and the ordinance seeks to increase the annual compensation to $48,000, effective the next General Election in November 2023.
