The Town of James Island, along with the City of Charleston and led by Charleston County, retained Thomas & Hutton to complete an island-wide watershed study of James Island. This project included two tasks of a multi-task approach to develop a drainage masterplan.
Many Drainage metrics of the area were studied, assessed, and a formal report compiled that presented the conditions of the existing drainage system. Also, a drainage plan was developed to assist in focusing resources to address drainage issues on the island.
