Come and join the James Island History Commission on Sunday, November 10th, 2024 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm at Fort Johnson as we commemorate the Stamp Act Outrage of 1765 and Launch "Voices of the Revolution: A Driving Tour." The event is free and open to the public and will include historic interpreters, demonstrations, refreshments, and children's activities.
Update from Dominion Energy. Due to hurricane restoration in Columbia involving the crew that will work the Fort Johnson project, Dominion is delaying the work to replace poles another week. Fort Johnson will be closed between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Work will begin October 21st.
