The Town of James Island will close today (June 18) at 12:00 noon in observance of the Juneteenth Federal Holiday, a federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery in all of the United States. Due to the late afternoon designation of the holiday, the Town will remain open until 12:00 noon today. We will reopen on Monday, June 21 at 9:00 a.m.
