James Island Pride Community Hero Award
James Island Pride is committed to developing and supporting litter control, recycling and beautification projects for neighborhoods on James Island. The Community Hero Award allows the Town of James Island to acknowledge and thank volunteers who have given significant time, talent and energy to our community over the course of at least one year's time.
Individuals, neighborhood associations, non-profit organizations, homeowner associations, and schools on James island, whether in the Town of James Island, City of Charleston, or in unincorporated areas of James Island are eligible.
The Community Hero Award period runs from January 1 through December 31. Nominations may be submitted at any time during the year. The final decision will be made at the regular James Island Pride meeting in December.
