Focus Group Participants Needed

South Carolina Department of Natural Resources
Beaufort and Charleston Area Residents Needed For Focus Group
Neighborhood Pond

My name is Clare Escamilla and I am a PhD student at Clemson University. If you are a homeowner currently living or owning property in a coastal community with a stormwater pond, we want to hear from you! Clemson University and University of South Carolina are working with Clemson Extension to learn more about homeowners' perceptions of stormwater ponds and floating treatment wetlands. Participation in this research will include joining a small group discussion where you will be asked to share your experience and opinions on water quality, stormwater ponds, and floating wetlands.

Participation in the small group discussion is voluntary and limited to 10 people for each meeting. One meeting will be held in person and one meeting will be held over Zoom. Participants can choose if they want to participate in-person or virtually when signing up. Meetings will be held at following locations:

  • In-Person Meeting: Wednesday, July 13, 2022 - Beaufort County Cooperative Extension Office, 18 John Galt Rd, Beaufort, SC, 29906 from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
