January 25, 2018: Beginning of the year Kick-Off. Discuss the program schedule, neighborhood concerns and Cold Weather Safety.
February 22: Revolutionary Charleston: Rebels and Red Coats. A presentation by Ken Scarlett from Revolutionary Charleston about our role in the Revolutionary War.
March 22: Solid Waste and Recycling: What to do with the garbage? Walter Desmond, JIPSD Solid Waste Supervisor and a representative from Charleston County Recycling
April 26: Drainage on James Island, What was it like, what have we been doing and what will the future look like? Chris Wannamaker, Charleston County Stormwater Manager.
May 24: Summer Recreation programs offered at City facilities that Town residents can participate in at City pricing. Ashley Kellahan, Town Administrator and representative from City Recreation Department.
June 28: Tour of New Town Hall Facilities

August 23: Hurricane and Disaster Preparation: How to do damage assessment in your neighborhood and who to report to. Mark Johnson, Public Works Director
September 27: Field Trip to Pinckney Park to tour Phase 2 improvements and future development.
October 25: Tree Conservation: Caring for our suburban forest. (Zennie knows people from the tree seminar).
November 15: Island Sheriff's Patrol program on neighborhood crime watch programs. Sgt. Shawn James, ISP program director.
