Join us tonight (Thursday, November 4) @ 5 - 7 p.m. for the Town of James Island Public Works Expo @ the James Island Town Hall (1122 Dills Bluff Rd). Engineers and field personnel from the Town, Charleston County, City of Charleston, James Island PSD, Charleston Water Systems, the SC Chapter of the American Public Works Association, Ashley Cooper Stormwater Education Consortium, and other organizations to see displays of equipment used in the field and answer your questions about water quality around James Island. This will be a chance to ask professionals about careers in Public Works and find out what Public Works takes care of on James Island. You will also be able to learn measures on how to keep our stormwater runoff clean and pollution out of our creeks and marshes.
