James Island Intergovernmental Council will meet on Wednesday, October 20 @ 7:00 p.m. in person at the Town Hall, 1122 Dills Bluff Road. The James Island Intergovernmental Council is comprised of elected officials from the State, County, Town of James Island, City of Charleston, City of Folly Beach, and the James Island Public Service District, and promotes connectivity between these entities in addressing key issues facing James Island. Town Council will meet on Thursday, October 21 @ 7:00 p.m. in person for its regularly scheduled meeting. A Public Hearing will be held as a part of this meeting on a proposed Zoning Map Amendment (rezoning) on property located at 1715 Oak Point Road from the Low-density Suburban Residential (RSL) District to the General Office (OG) for Fishing/Hunting Guide Service and Office uses. James Island Adopt-a-Highway Litter Pickup will be held on Saturday, October 23 from 9-11 a.m. starting at the Town Hall, 1122 Dills Bluff Road.
