Thursday, November 4 @ 5 p.m. the Town of James Island Public Works Expo @ the James Island Town Hall (1122 Dills Bluff Rd): Engineers and field personnel from the Town of James Island, Charleston County, City of Charleston, James Island PSD, Charleston Water Systems, SC Chapter of the American Public Works Association, Ashley Cooper Stormwater Education Consortium, and other organizations will be available to display equipment used in the field and answer questions about water quality around James Island. This will be a chance to ask the professionals about careers in Public Works and find what Public Works takes care of on James Island. You will also be able to find out about measures on how to keep our stormwater runoff clean and pollution out of our creeks and marshes. Learn about the JI Creek Water Quality Taskforce initiative of cleaning up James Island Creek.
