The James Island Town Council will hold a Public Hearing and Second Reading on Ordinance #2021-03, to increase the annual compensation of Mayor on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in person at the Town Hall, 1122 Dills Bluff Rd., James Island. The current annual compensation for Mayor is $15,000 and the ordinance seeks to increase the annual compensation to $48,000, effective the next General Election in November 2023.
