The James Island Public Service District has announced lane closings on Dills Bluff Road beginning February 9-13, as part of the District's Pump Station #11 wastewater project. The contractor, Anson Construction, will be going door-to-door this week informing residents along Dills Bluff Road of the construction and the closing. Although pipe installation will be accomplished by horizontal directional drilling, residents may experience periodic, signal controlled northbound lane closures and heavy equipment moving in and out of the area during this time.
If unable to make direct contact with a resident, a yellow door hanger will be left explaining the project, process, estimated completion time and the James Island PSD's phone number for questions or concerns.
The James Island PSD staff will keep detailed records of any complaints so that they are addressed quickly and responsively by the PSD and/or the contractor.
