In partnership with the City of Charleston, the Town of James Island will offer sandbags and sand beginning at 8:00 am on Tuesday, August 29 for folks to prepare their homes and businesses ahead of the storm later this week. 10 bags and sand to fill them will be provided at the site, 1122 Dills Bluff Road (Town Hall). Folks should come prepared to fill the bags themselves, and staff will be available to help those in need.
