A subtropical system located 60 miles east of Georgia will likely develop into a Tropical Depression or Tropical Storm as early as tomorrow. Local impacts many include increased rainfall, thunderstorms, heavy wave activity, beach erosion, as well as moderate wind speeds. It should be noted that as a precautionary measure, The National Hurricane Center could issue a tropical storm watch for portions of the coast of North and South Carolina this afternoon. Please watch for ponding and flooding in low-lying areas.
