Come join us for an evening with your Public Works professionals. We'll have engineers and field personnel from the Town of James Island, Charleston County, City of Charleston, James Island Public Service District, Charleston Water Systems, South Carolina Chapter of the American Public Works Association, Ashley Cooper Stormwater Education Consortium, and other organizations here to display equipment used in the field and answer questions about water quality around James Island. This will be a chance to ask the professionals about careers in Public Works and find out all the things that Public Works takes care of on James Island. You will also be able to find out about measures you can take to keep our stormwater runoff clean and pollution out of our creeks and marshes. Also, learn about the JI Creek Water Quality Taskforce initiative of cleaning up James Island Creek. Bring the whole family!
