The James Island Town Council will hold two Public Hearings: (1) A proposed zoning map amendment (re-zoning), specifically on property located at 1622 Camp Road from the General Office (OG) District to the Community Commercial (CC) District for Beverage or Related Products Manufacturing and Retail Sales and Service uses; and (2) Proposed amendments to the Zoning and Land Development Regulations (ZLDR) and the Livability Ordinance including provisions to allow for apiculture (beekeeping) on single-family residential property.
The Public Hearings will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 7:00pm at Town Hall, 1122 Dills Bluff Road, James Island, SC (843) 795-4141. Emailed comments to kcrane@jamesislandsc.us should be received by noon on Thursday, November 18th.The meeting will also be livestreamed to the Town's YouTube channel. Copies of the proposed zoning map amendment and ZLDR amendments are available for the public to review Monday-Friday during normal business hours.
