The James Island Town Council will hold a Public Hearing for proposed amendments to the Zoning and Land Development Regulations (ZLDR) including: changing the definition of a grand tree from 24" DBH (Diameter Breast Height) to 18" DBH.
The Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall, 1122 Dills Bluff Road, James Island, SC (843) 795-4141. Emailed comments to kcrane@jamesislandsc.us should be received by noon on Thursday, June 20 and should include name and address for the record. The meeting packet and link to livestream of the meeting will be available on the Town's website at www.jamesislandsc.us and at Town Hall during regular business hours before the meeting.
