First Friday Market Returns to James Island Nov. 7
Live music, food trucks and local vendors, a tree giveaway and a canned food drive highlight community event
The Town of James Island invites residents to its next First Friday Town Market on Friday, Nov. 7, from 6-9 p.m. at Town Hall, 1122 Dills Bluff Road.
This month’s market will feature live music by Dan & the Donuts, a wide variety of food trucks and local vendors, a free tree giveaway hosted by the James Island Tree Council (while supplies last), and a canned-food drive led by the local nonprofit James Island Outreach. Visitors are encouraged to bring canned goods to drop off at the Outreach tent to help support families in need.
“First Friday is one of the highlights of our community calendar,” said Mayor Brook Lyon. “It’s a great way for residents to come together, support local businesses and enjoy good food and music in a family-friendly environment.”
Free parking will be available at the Hillman lot on Dills Bluff Road, behind the Anglican Church on Camp Road, and in the First Baptist Church parking lot on Camp Road.
