The Town of James Island Council will hold a Special Town Council Meeting on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. A Public Hearing on Proposed Amendments to allow for variances and appeals of administrative decisions concerning the Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance and the Town Building Regulations Ordinance to be heard by the Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) along with additional edits and clarifications to Town Regulations concerning Flood Damage Prevention and Town Building Regulations will be heard before the Council.
