The James Island Town Council at its meeting held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, voted to amend the Town Council regular meeting day and time from the third Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Effective January 2027 the new date and time for regularly scheduled Town Council meetings will be the third (3rd) Wednesday of the month at 6:00 p.m.
We are hopeful that this new day and time will better accommodate council business, staff operations and public participation.
