Town of James Island Election: Absentee Voting through Monday, November 4, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday at the Board of Elections and Voter Registration Office located at 4367 Headquarters Road, North Charleston, SC. Persons unable to vote in person should contact the Board of Elections and Voter Registration Office for absentee information at (843) 744-8683.

Wednesday, October 23: Drop-in; 6-9 p.m. Public Charette for the Island-wide Drainage Basin Delineation Study, at Town Hall, 1122 Dills Bluff Road, James Island.
Thursday, October 25: National Lights on After School Event, 6 p.m. at Town Hall, 1122 Dills Bluff Road. Bring your family and friends and enjoy an evening of fun and informational topics. This event is co-sponsored with the James Island Kaleidoscope Program.
